Who We Are

We are a group of  National Association of Certified Quilt Judges qualified to present Two-Day Seminars for quilters interested in becoming quilt judges, entrants who want to understand what makes a winning quilt, and coordinators of quilt shows.

Our History

The Certified Judge Program created by the National Quilting Association (NQA) is now more than 40 years old. When the NQA disbanded in 2015, nearly 50 active Certified Quilt Judges from across  the nation formed the National Association of Certified Quilt Judges (NACQJ) . A number of these NACQJ Certified Quilt Judges became qualified to teach the 2-Day Judging Seminars and these 2-Day Judging Seminars are available across the country.

We welcome new venues and contacts to bring the Two-Day Seminar to your area.

All of the qualified instructors  travel and work throughout the country at quilting events, quilt guilds and quilt shops.  Inquiries welcome!

Thanks for having an interest in the seminar and the Certified Judge Qualified Instructors.

Where You Can Find Us:

Qualified Instructors present seminars in a variety of locations.  Look for us at national quilt shows, local guilds, regional quilt conferences or even quilt shops.  You can even choose a preferred venue.  Just ask one of our Instructors.
