Whether you are a quilt maker interested in perfecting your skills and knowledge, a quilt professional such as a teacher or appraiser, or someone interested in becoming a quilt judge, this seminar provides a thorough foundation in all aspects of quilt judging.
Participants will engage in activities on evaluating design and workmanship, the job of judging, judging terminology, and judging floor set-up. NACQJ Certfied Judges will teach through demonstrations, audiovisuals, handouts, homework, and hands-on judging exercises.
While discussion includes certification requirements by the only national certifying organization for quilt judges, this seminar does not certify students nor is it a certification program prerequisite.
